State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst (R – Kankakee) today announced the 79th District office is partnering with the Marine Corps Reserve for the Toys for Tots program for a second year.

“Our goal is to help economically challenged children in the 79th District enjoy a Merry Christmas and have Happy Holidays. Please look for a donation box and donate a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need.” Rep. Parkhurst said.

Rep. Parkhurst has a collection box in the 79th District Office at 370 E Court Street in Kankakee. The final day to drop of new, unwrapped toys is December 10th. Additional drop off locations can be found on the Kankakee Toys for Tots website at kankakee-il.toysfortots.org.

Kankakee, IL - Representative Lindsay Parkhurst distributed a district-wide survey to the residents of the 79th District. Rep. Parkhurst's intent for the survey was to seek insight into the views of the residents on key issues.
