79th District Rallies to Deliver Valentines to Vets

State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst put a call out to the community to collect Valentines for local veterans and received over a thousand handmade cards. The campaign started a few weeks ago and submissions were gathered across the 79th district from schools and individuals. The valentines were delivered to the Manteno Veterans Home as well as the local VFW and American Legion.
